I played for a few years...

Tried picking it up again after listening to a heavy dose of ska and reggae

Didn't work out...

That was my first instrument. My trombones are at home, so no pics. I used to play Tuba as well.

Good luck with that!

I tried playing it again and can only get about 10 good toned notes out before my lips swell up

I've got a trombone (it's an old B&H, don't really know anything else about it), does that count?

I used to play it, but I only really pick it up in the summer now when I'm in a silly mood. I absolutely bloody love listening to trombone, so long as I'm not playing it, because I'm awful.

I never tried to play trombone, but I tried other brass instruments before, and I just ended up giving up on it!

Steve Bailey used to play, so I guess you guys are in good company.

Not a trombonist, but *insert insignificant claim to fame* I played with Slide Hampton once.
