I can't wait for COD6 (Modern Warfare 2) to come out.

I think i might get virtua tennis because i played it on the xbox and it was good so it should be better on the PS3! |

Folklore is really good for a rainy sunday.
little big planet is fun as well
Ninja Gaiden is fantastic.
The reason I say rent is because although these games are great theyre only 12-20 hours deep so its pointless to own.
games to own...
Rainbow6 Vegas 2 is hand down the best FPS available.
Killzone 2 is the second best FPS available.
When COD6 comes out it will probably be right up there.

Resistance 1 and 2 are good games to rent but I wouldn't recommend to buy.

Fallout 3.
Eternal Sonata, if you like JRPGs (but this one is amazing and beautiful, and the PS3 version has more content than the 360 version). |

Batman Arkam Asylum is great as well.
Assasins Creed is good, as is Uncharted.
The MotorStorms are fun racers.

Metal Gear Solid 4. My second favourite of the series. Yes, there are a lot of cutscenes in the game, but the gameplay is fantastic. Downside: mandatory installs between chapters.
Fallout 3. Wait to get this until next week, when the Game of the Year edition comes out with all 5 DLC packs included.
Disgaea 3. If you like strategy RPG's this game is amazing. Hundreds of hours worth of gameplay, tons of DLC and loads of humour.
Valkyria Chronicles. Another good strategy type RPG.
As far as shooters go, Killzone 2 is fantastic. Both Resistances are good too, but I recommend renting them unless you plan on playing online for a long time.
+1 to InFamous. Really fun sandbox game.
As far as racing games go, the Motorstorm games are good. Gran Turismo 5 is looking great too. If you want to check out what it'll be like, rent GT 5 Prologue.
For downloadable games off PSN, Flow and Flower are excellent. Both very relaxing experiences. Super Stardust HD is really fun, as well as Pixeljunk Monsters.
As for non-exclusive games(that aren't Dead Space or Fallout 3), check out: Prince of Persia, Bioshock, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Prototype (similar to InFamous), Ghostbusters (really well done game, feels like you are a Ghostbuster, and has some hilarious lines), Chronicles of Riddick (PS3 version has Escape From Butcher's Bay and Dark Athena), Tomb Raider: Underworld (my favourite one so far), Mirror's Edge (gets a bit frustrating but is rewarding when you pull off some crazy stunts), GTA 4, COD: W@W, either of the Ninja Gaidens...

I just started playing COD4. RE5 or GTA4 will be next.
Anyone play Ultimate Alliance 2?
