Yup, I am working to add one of the above to my CCNA/CCNP cert, but kind of stuck in a rut on which on to go for.

Chime in guys, I bet someone here has one of those and can share the pro's/cons of them.

Thanks.

I got my Security+. It is the easiest of those to get. I gave up trying on the others when my career path went away from network security and more to infrastructure and application support.

Have you looked at the requirements for the CISSP? If you can get yourself either the CISSP or CCSP, much repsect to you sir.

Yup, and if you are a member of this ORG, you will be required to pay a maint fee every year as well, see below...

https://www.isc2.org/cgi-bin/content.cgi?page=11289

and I think the new fees they will start to enforce on those who have them starting in April is a bunch of bull, but not a lot I can do about that. I still may try for one or the other. I work with Cisco pix firewalls so the CCSP would be more practical for me. but the CISSP is the "WHO'S YOUR DADDY" of Security Certs....at least for now.......

I work in a gov't facility, I can tell you the CCNA is almost a prerequisite for any job here in the Networking dept.

YUP, and it gets tougher every year, which is why I will NOT let my certs expire again, did that once. NOT FUN AT ALL having to retake the CCNA and CCNPS or recert.
