Ok, up here in the "northern" great white north, just about everybody has at least one.

I remember my first time crossing open water...it was about a 50' stretch...I was a bit paranoid (lake was 130' deep at this part), but I went for it, and successfully made it (barely, I slowed a bit approaching the oncoming ice and she dipped pretty bad)

But check this out...these guys are insane!

Where I live, I can't even find a dealership. Can you recommend a dealership in Jacksonville?

Whatever you do...don't take your finger off the throttle, they sink.

I do when I visit my buddy in Alpine, Wyoming. He's WAY into it and gets me way over my head every time. His backyard is the Wyoming Range and it's just a trillion or so acres of parkland to shred in. It's a great feeling floating over DEEP powder, hill climbing, and tooling through trees. First time out I took a really bad spill into a stream bed in the middle of a big meadow....hard to see with all the white and sun and speed. I learned right away to study the land from all angles for streams and barbed wire.
