i found a guy at work with a provari. apparently he's been vaping for a few years. had no clue, he just stealthed at his desk until last week. he let me try some Tasty Vapor lemon poundcake. very nice. and he is gonna give me an orion to play with ... will be my first genny style atty.
and i put a dual coil in my phoenix clone rebuildable. metered out at 1.7Ω, rocks on the kgo battery with a small tank sleeve, pumps out hiroshima sized clouds on the box @ 4v ... it's just 2 pre-rolled coils from discount vapers, one on each side of the posts. i put an extra wrap on each side to bring the resistance up a little ... due to running parallel having the effective resistance.
seriously, anyone with a phoenix clone should try this, and for nine bux at DV, just get one to play with. a dozen pre rolled coils is about nine bucks too. |

the punched/flanged ce2's from bauway flood in my 3 and 6ml tanks. they work ok in the 2.5ml though. was hoping they would be way better, i love ce2 clearos for what they are.
i picked up 5m of 3mm silica on the cheap ... and probably going to order various gauges of kanthal thiss week, so i can try out some different coiling options. i can't wait to try to dual coil the orion with 3mm silica inside of 400 ss mesh though. i believe that will create a total vape beast. hopefully Jason remembers to bring it in with him tomorrow.
the phoenix dual coil has reduced the juice capacity form 12-13 drops to 8-9 ... and it sucks through it twice as fast. the up side is that it hits like a bomb. my twist just doesn't do well with the DC though ... my kgos and my box are fine ...

I'm still vaping all day/every day myself. At the moment I'm still using the VV Gripper, but it's held together with duct tape at this point so I guess I'll be replacing it soon.
I might check out the Lavatube 2. It looks like they made the switch better this time. |

check out the VAMO/ vision vv mod ... variable wattage for around $60 ...
i'm hoping to pick up a vw tube after xmas ... i should have a couple of heavy OT weeks in Jan ... i'm seriously considering the vamo. madvapes has the vision version for 60 ... and with the dna20 board becoming readily available, i'm hoping mamu will come out of retirement and do a run of Lexi's based on it instead of the elusive (and overpriced) nivel chip ...
i think the wife would do good with a vw device over vv ... she really likes the kgo batteries though. if they made a twist that was vw instead of vv ...

I need to order some more juice maybe try a 60/40, what are some good flavor's people enjoy for everyday vapes?
So far I like Sweetvapes green apple, and Heather Heavenly watermelon and angel's kiss. |

I also didnt mean to come off as "I dont need to vape to quit smoking", definitely not my intention. | This is second time you "quit smoking" in this thread. |

I just can't stand the taste of analogs anymore. I can taste chemicals every time. |

after 5 weeks of all day use, i finally popped the 2.4Ω coil in my vivi. sad thing is, i shorted it during a dry burn. if i would have been patient and not poked at it with a toothpick, it would be fine still. these heads are really nice.
so i put the 1.8Ω in it, and i hate it. under 4v, i get no flavor at all. 4.2v and higher, it burns. since i blew 2 months worth of juice budget on stuff yesterday, i might be stuck with it for a while.

I guess it's more a social thing. Like I said though I prefer vaping. For me it's where it's at. I don't think I'll ever go back to regular cigarettes.
I'm just about to leave the house to go a local bar to play some music. Bass and ego in hand |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: middletown, oh | | | my xmas present came saturday ... i am really digging the genesis tank ... the flavor is very very clean ... cleaner than a debridged lr 510 atty. maybe not quite as intense though.
still using the stock wick / coil in it ... seems pretty low resistance ... get nice warm vapor at around 4v ... i'b guessing it would meter out at around 1.9Ω. i need to stop somewhere and pick up a cheap $10 digital meter. i can't believe that i have gone this long without one.
my next wick, i am going to try a silica core wrapped with SS mesh ... a lot of people i know are having very good luck with that setup.
i also stopped at the smoke shop saturday and picked my wife up a vivi nova with a blue tube ... and they had a teal alu driptip that matches perfectly. unfortunately, the ones they have now are vape dojo branded v2's, not the real vision v2.5's that i got from there before.

Are there vaping systems that can vape any tobacco? I know most of these systems have a nicotine or whatever cartridge, but are there some systems that you could get to produce vapor from regular tobacco?

The best you would get is warm tobacco. Plus, why vape tobacco, the point is to break away from the carcinogens and chemical additives of the plant. |
