luthiers forum? what makes you think more artists will hang out in there? Maybe i wasnt clear. I mean i want someone to paint a picture on a pickguard i own. I want to send it to you, give you money, you paint a picture along the lines of what i want, and then send it back.

Depending on what you want to be done, I could make you a vinyl transfer with similar results.

I'll do it with a crayon and a sharpie, then spray it with laquer if you like. Not only will it look like a 2 year old's scribbling, but it will always look like that.

I usually work on the computer for illustration work. So I get it printed on vinyl and then apply it to a surface. It's similar to what's often done on cars.

A good friend of mine is an experienced professional illustrator. I've sent guitar and bass work his way a few times and he's always been glad to do it. He isn't cheap but he can do absolutely anything you want and it will be flawless and beautiful and guaranteed to make you happy.

You can see tons of examples of his work on his website. If interested, you can PM me or just contact him directly (tell him Dan Cote sent you.)

his work is really sick, i agree, but expensive is no fun for a 20 year old with no money =] I'm hopefully working out a deal with L-A here to see what i can score from him!
