It's definitely relatively simple. I've been concerned about RFID for sometime, and make sure my cards do not contain RFID chips. If they do, I will not carry them for this reason.

My brother worked with a major CPG manufacturer about ten years ago on a pilot program to install RFID chips in consumer goods for the simplicity of scanning them. I had bad thoughts as soon as I realized someone thought putting these in credit cards was a good idea.

do you think it might make a dfferance that my card case is made of brass?

Someone told me to wrap your cards in foil.
