Anyone apply to UCR?

I've been up until 12 each night to check my admission status, and this afternoon, I get an announcement that says to review my provisions of admission. Does this mean I'm accepted? I really hope so!

I'd rather not right now...I'd be on hold for more than a few hours.

I would think that the announcement would have a link to the "provisions." It sounds to me like you have been accepted, but with some extras you will need to do, or that you will be accepted based on your response to those provisions. Either way, they should have provided access to those provisions, or at least let you know info will be arriving in the mail shortly.

Yeah, they linked me to a list of basic requirements for final admission. So based on your response, I think I made it! Thanks! Still waiting up on UCI though (first choice)!

I have friends at both UCR and UCI (I attend CSUF).

the general consensus is:

UCR:
-stereotypical So-Cal demographic, with a large population of Northern-CA residents
-a large number of douche bags
-a large number of racists
-good professors
-lousy area

UCI:
-mostly asians
-no good looking girls (except for a few asians)
-everyone is a super-geek
-good professors
-great area
-beautiful campus

Well it's a good thing I'm Chinese then! But in all seriousness, I've heard that the demographics of Diamond Bar and Irvine are not really all that different. I don't think I could take people from NorCal saying "hella" all the time though!
