Like any sickness, your drained, tired, light headed, sleep alot. I would wake up in the middle of the winter and literally had sweated so bad I soaked my comforter. It also hurt super bad to swallow anything, even warm tea. After a week of misery I got antibiotics that cured it in a few days, go to the doc.

SEE A DOCTOR! If you're getting care for the Rheumatic Fever (and you definitely should), tell them about the other symptoms. This is nothing to screw around with.

This is from the Mayo Clinic site-

" Rheumatic fever is an inflammatory disease that can develop as a complication of inadequately treated strep throat. Strep throat is caused by infection with group A streptococcus bacteria.

Rheumatic fever is most common in 5- to 15-year-old children, though it can develop in younger children and adults. Although it's very rare in United States and other developed countries, rheumatic fever remains common in many developing nations.

Rheumatic fever can cause permanent damage to the heart, including damaged heart valves and heart failure. Treatments can reduce tissue damage from inflammation, lessen pain and other symptoms, and prevent the recurrence of rheumatic fever."

Yeah, go to a doctor.

While most of us could fight off a Step infection most of the time, they can get nasty, go see a Dr if it's giving you such symptoms, especially seeing all you generally need is antibiotics to clear it up.

Interesting first post on a bass forum...

Go see a doctor.

really sore throat that's red and inflamed with white patches. Go see a doctor or you'll just be miserable.
