Anyone else ever fall up the stairs?

Sign in to disble this ad
When I go up stairs I always take them two or three at a time, because I like to prove how much of a man I am. A few times a week I will catch just my toe on the edge of the step and fall up the stairs giving myself a nice bump or bruise in the process. Anyone else do this?

No, but sometimes when I try to get out of my car I forget that the door is closed. I usually figure it out in a minute or two...so its not that big of a deal.

Let's form a club

I worked for several years in a bike shop located in a very old building, w/some very steep-pitched stairs. On a busy day I probably ran up & down the stairs at least 20 times. I developed the habit of taking two steps at a time, & now if I take one step, I almost always trip(going up).

I did it once at school though and some girl just started at me. Was a little embarassing

I did it at school a few times last year, I got up laughing and people were looking at me. Not sure if it was because I fell or because I was laughing and no one else was with me.

Embarrassingly I've managed to fall up the steps 2 or 3 times in quick succession at the movies, luckily it wasn't date. Stupid movie theater with patterned carpet on their step making it really hard to see the edge of the steps.

I tend to trip up the stairs when i go up them one at a time instead of the usual 2 steps at a time.

I've done this many times. It is one reason I insisted on a ground floor room in my student accommodation and in my house. Seriously.

I once took a step barefooted, but only my toes caught the step, not the ball of my foot. Pretty much ripped the flesh off all my toes, and then carved a huge gash on my shin with the next step.

That was a crappy summer.
