My name is Steve Erwin so it's a pretty famous name. After he died (may he RIP) I got stuck with the nickname stingray. I was just curious as to how many of my bass brethren share a famous name with someone else. So lets here your or someone you knows famous name. |

My last name is the same as two historical (one fictional) individuals,
a boutique bass company,
and a new IBM computer that will soon apparently dominate the world and enslave us all (maybe not me since I'm family ) through Jeopardy!
Watson.

| | Banned | | Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: New York City | | | My name is Bob Ross. But I don't know dick about "Happy Trees".
Apparently there was also a Bob Ross who played bass on some Motown tracks; that's definitely not me either.
More annoyingly, there is/was another Bob Ross who is/was a record producer, and several records that I've produced have been erroneously credited to him! Doesn't affect my income (at least I don't think those discs are earning any money) but it's infuriating just the same. |
