Anyone else having the same problem? I suspect it's a bug on my machine, but a friend of my wife's is having the same issue.

I have the problem too where you click on a link and it starts a virus scan and adware and stuff.

That's what I figured it probably was. We're supposed to be protected, but it appears our network condom has a hole. I've put a call in to our geek.

I would definitely chalk that up to malicious software.

I remember having something like that before. Definitely malicious.

Can't remember exactly what I did to fix it, but it was simple as running my antivirus or adaware.

i had that happening but i found i had a virus so i reset the computer back to factory settings, (didnt have anything i needed to keep) and i was good after that. just copy what you need/want onto some cd's and reset it to factory settings. you can normally find out what the key combination is to do that by looking around on the internet. just copy what the web page is on the bottom and post it in the url thingy till you find it. if you got a dell just type in dell restoration key in a google search. if you got an acer type in acer restoration key. etc.
