Is there anyone else here that doesn't play video games? I will play them with my friends from time to time, but I haven't done so since the summer. BTW I am 19.

If I'm sitting in a waiting room I might play solitaire on my PDA for a few minutes. I bought my daughter a Nintendo 64 a few years ago and played Duck Dodgers on it for a while, but by the time I progressed at all in the game, I was tired of it and ready to go do something else. Not my cup o'tea. |

I really don't have the time for them anyway, I'd rather play my bass. I do spend a bit of time with my RC Helicopter simulator but it's not really a game. A good friend and customer of mine owns a major game company what won a VGA a few weeks ago. I'm sort of familiar with his games but never play them. I miss my old Asteroids game, I might by another one at some point. That's my speed, steer and shoot |

When I did own one, it was not unusual for me to be up all night until it was time for work. The bad thing is, that I'm not even very good at most of them (except Tetris & Dr. Mario). |

Videogames are one of the biggest WOFTAMs in history.

And most of my NES playing is tetris... which I could play on any platform, but what the hell...
I did get into the GTA games and I got into one of the Hitman games (not sure which one), but that's been about it.

I haven't been grabbing the lastest systems, my newest being an XBox I got in 2005. I only have a few EA Sports games, Tony Hawk, Dave Mirra, GTA, and a disc with old Midway arcade games. I also dig most of the old-school consoles and games.
I do play video games, but I just don't keep up with the latest games and consoles. It's always been that way. I didn't get a Game Boy until around 1996, also around that time I bought a NES at a yard sale. My brother and I saved for months to get a system that had been out for years (a Playstation in '99). I just never found it worthwhile to keep up. |

I've run through a few PC FPS' over the last few years (gifts, mostly), but I get bored with them pretty quickly. Fortunately, my real life is interesting enough that I don't need a substitute for it. |

Then I got a job at a games company, and after working there for five years, I couldn't look at a video game again for years... it totally killed my desire to play them. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
