Well, infomercials are a bit old, but when you've matured a bit and you realize that arround you, there's a whole world of marketing, deception, fraud, false hopes, in products that look like will make your life easier, eventually it becomes something very funny haha!
They sell a product with a fresh, cool colors, and a beautiful woman using it, while putting aside in black and white images another ugly, messy, unkempt woman , looking tired, with back pain, using the conventional product
I have 1 year going to the gym, making diets, trying to lose the belly fat, and the results are slow and tedious, suddenly appears on the market a new magic product that promises to lower your abs in 15 days and achieve the pack abs??? hahaha too funny for me sorry!

I don't remember the last time I watched a commercial, let alone an informercial. But they're fun to watch in the company of others, good for a larf. |

It is the mouthpiece of the corrupt beast and the reception is a bit rubbish here as well. |

Most of them are translated from English infomercials (presumably aired in the USA). The Hindi translations are hilariously horrid.
What's worse is that even Nat Geo and Animal Planet air these

Actually, infomercials are the only thing I watch on TV these days (ok, Top Chef too). I particularly enjoy the swivel sweeper and Erik Estrada's Real Estate 30 min ads late at night... And then there's the P90X, which works quite good, BTW. |

| | | | What's even worse are the TV shopping channels that have 2 or 3 people talking about a shirt for 1/2 an hour like it is the best shirt ever made and they get all excited how the buttons go into the button holes or any other mundane product they are hawking. I really love when they are trying to selll perfume or secnted candles or food products as if we can smell or taste them through our TV screens.
Oh, and, as an extra bonus, you get the Cap Snaffler --- And, it really, really works! |

Are you tired of slicing cheese? Are you sick of ending up with a room covered in cheddar crumbs? Well worry no more.
Something like this. Where they make cracking eggs look like the hardest task. YouTube - EZ Cracker Commercial - As Seen on TV Chat Video |

| | | | I guarantee you, Michael, that these pots and pans will clean your carpet quicker and cleaner than any knife you've ever used to detail your car.....
Actually, my favourite was when my wife and I inadvertently tuned in on an infomercial for "Hair Regrowth."
Unfortunately, the voice-over talent kept pronouncing it "Hairy growth." Over and over and over. We laughed. |

* Retail value: $599
* Shopping channel regular price: $499
* Today only: $399
* Call in the next five minutes, and get it for six easy payments of just $49!
Heck, that's such a great deal, I don't even care what the product is! I want it!
Oh, I also like the infomercials that try to look like a talk show. "Today on Health World, we're talking to the inventor of the super-mega-vitamin ..."
