Anyone else's Gmail account just get hacked?

I just sent out a mass Viagra email to everyone in my contact list on Gmail, and no I am not infected. I only use Gmail on my iPhone.

Just curous if anyone else got this after the gmail server backup data replacement the past couple of days.

I'd suspect the email has been sent with your contact list from a Google Talk application or something similar, but not from the Gmail servers (you can fake a sender in the email header).

I checked the header and it could have been spoofed, but it was from my account and the servers looked legit.

My high school's band director's account was hacked, and I also got a Viagra ad. Wonder how she explained that...

You know, if your account was hacked and is now sending spam emails, you must bring those responsible to justice! These are viagra ads, so go after them. I mean, its like Lenin said, you look for the one who benefits, and....
