Anyone familar with the Sansa e200 series Mp3 players?

Matt,

Here are some links that might help. I had a similar issue with the clip 4 gig. I ended up doing a format and firmware update and that fixed the problem. Seems that some ID3 tags can cause these things to freak out.

Quite a bit to read over, so it might be a while before I can figure it out, but I really really appreciate these links! I don't understand how they can sell these things with all the bugs they have.

Install Rockbox. Problem Solved. I have a 4 gig e200, and it did great with Rockbox

I will check out this rock box, but good news:

PROBLEM SOLVED

All I had to do was switch the USB mode to MSC and run chkdsk! Thanks for the help!

glad to hear you got it working. I've had a few problems like that on mine, some weird corrupted files that wouldn't go away.

I ended up simply reformatting it, and it didn't have any problems after that.
