 Anyone going to go to All Points West?

Im about to book my flight to the states later this week, but can't decide where should be first point of entry, San Francisco or NYC. They are both around $1200 return from AUS.
But what has interested me in going to NYC first is the All Points West festival lineup.
Im planning to try and do all points west and lollapalooza back to back (whilst probably spending 2k in the process, unfortunately). However, the bloke I am travelling with will be in Canada taking part in a mountain bike competition. So I will most likely head there by myself.
Anyone else going to APW, and has anyone been before and can offer feedback. Should I be able to get accomodation nearby and at a reasonable rate? Any locals from NY/Jersey, help would be appreciated. |
