Have fun in college. It probably doesn't need to be said but make sure you take care of getting the work done FIRST. If you can do that and keep on top of your courses you'll most likely find that you have a lot of time left over to enjoy yourself. The next four years should be some of the best years of your life!
I'd love to go back and do college all over again!

Find a nice balance between study and social aspects of college, regardless of what some people might say, they're both just as important to your development into the person you'll become.
Enjoy your course, enjoy your beer, if you must, enjoy your drugs in moderation, definitely enjoy the "loose" college sex life (I didn't get that aspect of college, been with the same girl since I'd just turned 17, so I've been a one-woman man all through college.) You'll do some things you never seen yourself doing, just rock it out. Don't let your music suffer for it though.

I'm doing quite an intense course (MSci in Chemistry) and I'm in college over 30 hours a week, I still have time for partying, working, spending a lot of time with my girlfriend and a reasonably active band.
I think better advice would be "get a hell of a lot better at organising your time, if you're gonna party, you've gotta make up for it another day"

Whereas if they don't they are more prone to want to go out and drink because they are sick of studying. I also find it's good for getting to know people within the college/university.
Just my personal experience/take on it all.
