| Anyone on the ground in Tokyo or Chiba?

My wife and daughter are currently in Hong Kong. They were in Haneda airport when The Big One hit, but got out safely. They canceled the rest of their planned trip to Japan (the missus is Japanese; has family in Kanagawa and Niigata), but their return flight, Friday local, will go through Narita.
I'm trying to get a sense from someone who's in Tokyo or Chiba what the situation is like there, whether the hysterical accounts on CNN are accurate, particularly about whether Narita is packed with people fleeing the country. If we're going to book a return through SFO or LAX, we need to jump soon. Hoping someone has better info than I.
Thanks, and be safe,
-jb
