Anyone here an expert on LCR/LCZ meters?

I know, why am I asking a bass forum... But this is really the only forum I care to hang out on much, and I am not on any engineering forums.

I am about to drop some $$ on a nice LCR or LCZ meter, but the really good ones are many thousands of dollars. In my realistic budget range, I can get a 20 to 30 year old (but recently calibrated) HP unit for about $650 to $950, a more recent Stanford Research unit for about $1100, or a brand new Instek 816 for about $800.

Which do you recommend--or do you have an alternate suggestion? It must have 100 or 120 Hz test frequency capability, which rules out most of the handheld units that I've found so far.

Thanks for any help on this!

the only one I have used is the old HP unit, and it works great.

make sure you get the manual with it, because it has to be calibrated before every use for it to give a proper reading.

(I work in an accredited calibration lab)

this is the model I have used to be specific:
