Yes i play wow. Have for the past two years run one of the best casual raiding guilds on Jubei'Thos server. We are called Children of Stormwind. have a website www.childrenofstormwind.com
I enjoy it more the running and managing of the guild than the actual game itself. Ive learnt some valuable lessons on organisation, dealing with people of all ages and better enhanced my communication skills. Someone pointed out recently that we are now the oldest, longest running with the original guild leader on Jubei. So im pretty proud of that.
Oh and on the comment of meeting real chicks: My fiance is more addicted to it than i am! my guild has a large number of couples, husband and wife teams.
my toons are:
lvl 70 human warlock (demonology sacrifice/desto spec for raids)
lvl 70 human rogue (my gank tool. Called him Choochmagee as apparently chooch means Jackass in italian)
Lvl 70 gnome Warrior (he's prot, dont ever tank as a gnome, can only see feet!)
Lvl 64 human priest.
If anyone is on Jubei'Thos drop me a line!
Damien

A bunch of mobs walking around zoned and fetch quests and a leveling treadmill. WOW is probably the best of the bunch now, everyone I've tried hasn't done antying interesting. I gave up on EQ and mmorpgs when it seemed like they were glorified chat rooms, but with people talking about their characters.
Really just a time sink, and a waste of time. Rather play a shooter and play a game that's fun wether you play it for five minutes or four hours. |

I think it's the most fun when you start with your friends and are all lower level. Once you start getting into the higher levels - it takes so much longer to do regular things. You really need to dedicate lots of time to a MMORPG at high levels if you choose to stay with it. Just starting though is loads of fun - especially with real friends.

As ric1312 said, games where you can get something done and have fun whether you play for 5 minutes or a few hours just feel more enjoyable than MMORPG's where you have to work for hours to even get anything done, especially when they aren't fun until higher levels.
All IMHO, at least. |

It seemed to get really boring once I got past lvl 60. And I have a low tolerance for idiots and/or children, so there's a high annoyance factor for me. Because of that, I almost never group -- which means I miss out on a big part of the game.
I think TB has replaced my WoW addiction. |
