Anyone know how to update Adobe Flash Player on Firefox?

Yea, I know it should be pretty self explanatory but I can't seem to figure it out. Usually I'm pretty computer literate and I've done everything the directions say and it's still not working. I went under the add-on feature and added adobe.com like they said to do but when I go to download it and it says the download will start automatically and then nothing. Anyone know what to do?

I'm using windows and I can get it to almost finish installing up until a window pops up saying "the installer will automatically continue when these conflicting applications are closed" then it just says Mozilla Firefox. When I close mozilla firefox nothing happens. Anyone know what's going on or what I need to do?

Yes, I have. I close out of Firefox and then that message still shows up at the end of it. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or my computers just retarded.

Did you try the method I've posted? I'm pretty sure it bypasses all that. Make sure Firefox is closed when you place the files in the folder.

ctrl+alt+del
Go to processes
Look for mozilla.exe or firefox.exe
Close those
Try again
