In HS and in my very early 20's I delivered, installed, and set up electronics and appliances. One new years eve I was finishing up at a guys house I had done a lot of work for, and he gave me this bottle. I assume it's champagne, but honestly don't know. He traveled extensively around the world in the oil industry, and said he got this bottle in the late 80's early 90's in Russia for about $500 American. Does anyone know what it is or could be? I figure it's a cheapie, but don't know. The guy didn't realize he gave a kid booze (I think I was 18-19 or so).
Thoughts? Ideas? Serg? Surely he'll know

Edit: On second thoughts, the latter might not be true. The winery only started in 1995.
