Nope, but I do have a funny story about semi-pro volleyballers:

Me and my friends were chilling out on the beach one day when Tom decided he wanted to play some Volleyball. So he heads up to this group, and the conversation went something like this.
"Hey, can I join in?"
"Well, you could, but then we'd have an odd number."
"Well, I have a friend, it'd be three on three."
"Actually, we've got a good group going now. We're actually semi-pro."

And they wouldn't let him play.

I never played pro football, but I'm about to coach the New England Patriots to victory in Super Bowl XLII on Feb. 3. Now if you'll excuse me I have some film to watch.

"Video? What video?"

"Give up 1/2 a mil and a draft choice for that? I swear, Mr.Kraft, the Jets were simply signalling me the phone number for their local pizzeria!"

I played HS Football, but wasnt really big enough... 5'8" @ 135 lbs. I played WR & DB.

I didnt make varsity until I was a senior, & didnt get alot of play time... but, it was good conditioning for track, which I was MUCH better at. All sprints, 100m, 200m, & 400m Relay.

I did in HS. I found my old letter jacket and jerseys the other day while cleaning one of my closets. Brought back some memories.

Highschool senior team and varsity team.

In senior I play first string Defensive half back (corner back) and 2nd string linebacker. And I sometimes play slotback. I got 5 TD's this season.

In varsity I play first string free safety and 2nd string linebacker.

BTW I'm 5'9'' and 140lbs.
Good times.

High School - played halfback on offense and was often split out wide as a flanker; on defense was a DB. We actually could play pretty even with the big schools (our enrollment was roughly 550) my sophmore and junior year. Our senior year we had 10 guys play both ways and it would have been 11 except that we couldn't risk having our QB play defense even though he was our best athlete since our only hope was our passing game.

A couple of guys on my team played Division 3 football in college, I didn't.

I lettered 4 years at defensive tackle for Purdue University. It was a great experience.

I was a (not sure of the term actually, linerunner/wide receiver? the guy who catches, or runs like hell and avoids getting smacked down by dudes 3 times his size) in HS when I was in the US. Lots of fun.

I never played football.

I played rugby for three years in college though. Wicked fun!
