Yeah that was some good stuff! You walk in to order chicken and you hear Kenny Rogers and country music. Let me tell you that was life changing lol I preferred it over KFC

They had all-you-can-eat ribs at the one in Gainesville, FL back in the day. I think I only did that once. Once.

It was good, but way overpriced which is what killed most of the stores. There are still some locations in So-Cal though.

yeah man, i remember that place. when i was living in new york, they opened one right across from my third story apartment. at first, i could never sleep because of that red light, but after i started eating kenny's chicken every night, i slept like a baby. it was beautiful... i think it was the wood that made it so good.

I remember when Kenny Rogers' Roasters started getting combined under one roof, at least in Florida, with Miami Subs, Arthur Treachers and Baskin Robbins. (The jingles touting the virtues of all four together were funny in a pathetic way.) That was not a good sign for the chain.

The one we had here was great. My guitar player is still upset over the place closing down.

The way I understand it, the chain suffered a major setback when Kenny Rogers left the day to day operations to others while he concentrated on his reality show.
