Anyone in San Bruno? Everything OK?

I know that there are TB'ers in the Bay Area in general...is anyone actually in San Bruno? Are you OK?

I used to live in San Bruno about 15 years ago, and know exactly where the affected area is...I'm still stunned at what happened.

And for those who may not know what I'm on about here, a gas main exploded yesterday evening and wiped out most of a neighborhood.

I work about a mile east of the fire but was already home in SF when it happened. At a local strip mall they have set up a command center, and I went through there for lunch today. Tons of newstrucks.

A friend of a friends family lost their home. one of 38 that burned down within hours last night. Actually I think that some of them burned up within one hour. The gas flame was 100 feet high! sucks.

also, this area is very close to San Andreas lake, a lake formed by the faultlilne. It wouldn't surprise me if an earth movement had something to do with the rupture of the 24 inch gas line.

Here is a link to some footage:

I lived on Clairmont Dr. at Sneath Lane in 1996-97, right at ground zero according to SFGate.com. I was stunned when I saw the footage. Very sad to see this.
