I have a couple djembes. I have a boduberu drum from the Maldives where the head is made out of the skin of a manta ray, I have a set of morrocon kettle drums, and I also have a 4 foot tall african drum that I don't know the name of it, but it's bassy as all hell. I basically set the basslines of any drum circle with that thing. Plus I have tons of shakers, noisemakers. I listen to a lot of Grateful Dead and Phish. I would say I'm kind of a hippie, minus the smell (most of the time).

I have a small collection of guitars and basses. But most of them are not in demand kinds of colectors pieces. I am looking to buy a couple of better vintage pieces in the near futre, but they're all either to replace things I sold and miss or to have basses that were used by certain heroes in my youth. I have a couple of Violins also.

I currently own my main Tuba, a shoddy tuba I bought in Kiev, a trombone, french horn, flute, old metal (but good and working) clarinet, various and sundry wooden and clay flutes, a baritone ukulele, lap dulcimer, couple different drums, cheap yamaha MIDI keyboard, 4 basses (when the Birdsong gets here).

Recently sold a bass clarinet and euphonium to help fund the Birdsong.

I have two hand carved 'first people' flutes, half dozen other wooden flutes, a violin, a mountain dulcimer, a 3string strum stick, an acoustic guitar, an 8" hand pounded brass Tibetan singing bowl, a heavily carved and tied wood & skin drum from Africa (don't recall it's type), other assorted percussion instruments like wooden sticks, spoons and rain-sticks.

I think that's all of it.

I have a marching snare, several guitars, a couple of cheapo keyboards, a piano. My wife wants a cello, even though she has never played one. I want a drum kit, either a cocktail kit or an electronic kit. We are also going to get a decent digital piano in the next couple of months, something with weighted keys and maybe hammer action, for under $500.

My son has two trombones, and my daughter has a clarinet.

With all of my basses, we could almost open a music store.

well i have no money and am a kid but when i grow up i'm spending all my money on instruments in general. I plan to learn viola violin chello double bass trumpet. I can already play saxophone (can technically play clarinet to so i would by those). And already play guitar bass and drums and will spend my money collecting multiple instruments...

Hi.

Mostly stringed instruments but I have, or have had, several brass instruments and percussion also.

I consider the tube amps as instruments also, rather than just exaxt reproduction devices, so quite a few of those too.

Most stuff I buy in bad condition and repair when I have the time. (I have a LOT of instruments that are in need for the repair )

Regards
Sam

Besides the basses (Kay upright, Fender Jazz, Godin fretless and Samick ABG) I have classical and steel string acoustic guitars and soprano, concert and baritone ukuleles. I also have a few keyboards including a vintage Wurlitzer electronic piano (visible on the left).
