I posted some mean things on the forum last night, on here and in the effects section. I'm truly sorry if I offended any of you. I will not let this happen again.

I wonder why people get so bent at times about gear. Do you think construction workers get all up in arms when someone talks about Craftsman tools being better than Snap-On tools?

I bet non-musicians would laugh at us if they knew how we carry on at times...

Actually, yes, they do.

To the op: no one is paying attention to you, so you have nothing to worry about.

When I worked in cabinet shops, Craftsman was a derogatory term as in *Oh, he's a real Craftsman*
IMO/IME, Snap-On slays Craftsman mercilessly.

On topic, I'm feeling just a bit left out, having not been talked to harshly.

to quoth the great claypool: "bought sears tool cause he can't afford snap-ons".

I work at a custom shower door place and we snicker at the people who insist that the boxed junk you buy at Home Depot is just as good as our work. When you're in an industry, you get those little idiosyncrasies in your head. Outside of that situation, it's all laughable. Hell, it's downright hilarious that I work at "BJ Shower Door". I build friggin' shower doors! HA! HA! HA!

...ugh... i really need my band to hit it big so I can quit that job!

I would much rather have Snap-Ons than Craftsman tools and a new bass.

Not.

Some bass company should start putting out calendars like the ones Snap On has, but better.

You and I are the only ones in this thread that have any idea what you're talking about.
