Here's the situation: I'm running OSX 10.4.11 on my 1st gen aluminum imac. Every morning (without fail) apple mail asks me to re-enter my password. I re-enter it and click the "remember password? box, but it doesn't seem to remember.
Under my POP accounts tab, everything looks ok. My pass is there along with the correct user name, server names, etc. Under the advanced tab, the port is at 110 Use SSL is unchecked, and below for authentication, it says password.
What the heck is going on It's getting very annoying. Maybe my mac is suffering from the same effects of "cooking with aluminum..."
This password Alzheimers seems to only affect mail. It remembers all my other login/pass stuff for websites (incl. TB), etc.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Its seems to be something that just happens. |

As long as I don't start GASing for the new latest iMac with the 27" screen
