I for one appreciate them. I never appreciate anyone until they score an appreciation thread. It's like, I wouldn't date myself unless myself had an appreciation thread about myself.
Discuss?? |

Discuss?? | I can't appreciate that. I think someone can be appreciated without an appreciation thread. The Qintar never got an appreciation thread... I rest my case
But FL Knifemaker, I appreciate you. But I won't date you!

Now if we can just start an Appreciation Thread Club we will complete the circle of annoyance.

But FL Knifemaker, I appreciate you. But I won't date you! | I'm too abraisive and politically incorrect to ever get my own appreciation thread I like you to Lorenzini in a manly, non ***, totally hetero way |

Discuss?? | I'm quite the opposite. I think that by the time an appreciation thread is posted about someone, it's really a sign that they are yesterday's news. Don't get me wrong, I support holding up eachother's nutsacks as much as the next guy, but the appreciation thread is a kiss of death.
Besides, they're gawdy. Kinda like putting grillz and curb feelers on your internet personality.

I am not sure which of those comments I fear more!
But yeah, 'appreciation', while not necessary, is, well, appreciated, but you're right, we really don't need threads to say so.
