Last tuesday 25th may Argentina celebrated 200 years since the revolution that lead to independence. There were 4 days of celebration, ended on tuesday with a HUGE parade, with 18 chariots, each representing an important event in argentina's history.
I was lucky enough to participate in this huge event, as an actor. This was organized by the theatre group FUERZABRUTA (an argentine theatre company that tours around the world, right now they are in New York, you should see it if you have the chance!)
Over 2 million people congregated in the streets to watch this huge parade. Most of the scenes were really impressive.
Here's a couple of links:
I'm in this scene: (yes, doing this is lots of fun!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-a8BpeEKsUQ http://www.facebook.com/video/video....5057909&ref=mf http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF7G9...eature=related
Hope you enjoy it! It was a great experience being there, I don't think I'll get any more chances of performing live to such a huge audience!

Just doesn't say celebration of what. The country itself is not quite 200 years old yet.
Viva la patria non the less. |

we're better off making big shows for the people so they forget about small unimportant things like corruption and poverty.
And if we get to win the world cup...
