I have fairly broad tastes in... well, everything really. Books, movies, music, food, clothes, hobbies. But even then there are a lot of sub-genres I don't like. Books about vampires, "dude with an acoustic guitar" style alt/pop music, romantic comedies etc. But even within those disliked genres there are some real gems.
While You Were Sleeping is brilliant, a couple of Bebo Norman's albums are really enjoyable (love that guys voice, wish I could find a good youtube version of the song Britney), and... well, I still haven't read a book involving vampires I didn't dislike.
So what book/movie/song etc do you love even though it's part of a genre you don't enjoy, apart from it?
