heya fellas
i've been considering upgrading to snowleopard on JT's Studio Behomth(tm) but i don't want to introduce any issues with my software, such as incompatibilities. heh.
anyone using digital performer 6.0/motu i/o hardware or protoolsLE 7.0/digi002 hardware with snow leopard? everything ok?

I haven't heard of any issues, but shouldn't this be in the "recording's" forum? Maybe you could ask a mod to move it.
Still. I haven't heard of anything, but you might want to check out ProTools site for any warnings. |

I really wish I had that much ram on my computer...that way I could play Age of Empires III all day with no glitches.

besides, my post count is getting really really high. so you know, being in ot and all...

Turns out it was only available for the higher costing units. I don't even use it anyway. I just dial in the levels in LIVE.
But ProTools is notorious for not playing well with others, so I would definitely check out some ProTools forum or something for more info. |

As far as i can tell its running smoothly, but doesnt feel too much different from leopard.
Not that this helps you at all, but this being an internet forum, a mandatory useless post was necessary.

...is mainly a performance upgrade. It's nice, and very consistent with Leopard. Hence the low price. It's worth it, especially if you team up with friends and buy the family pack (five theoretical upgrades, but there's no serial tracking. Apple counts on people's morale this time).
