attention all PERFORMING musicians!!!!

Howdy Howdy, well that time has come in my life for the dreaded Senior Project. I've decided to do my project on the Basics and Fundamentals of being an Amateur/Semi-Professional Musician...ok...it's more of a Documentary of sorts, on the in's and out's of us "little guys" that keep our local music scene up and runnin'. ...Anyway.

What i plan to do is write the basic 6-7 page summary report. For my fieldwork i'll be interviewing various local musicians...That's where you guys come in...ANYONE on this forum who Performs, as in with a band or by yourself, in any kind of musical environment, on any instrument, and would be willing to be interviewed by me, Stephen, by way of AIM or email, PLZ contact me at...

Tractorranmeover@aol.com

Any interviews will be greatly helpful in my research and development of this Project, and neither mine nor your words will be revised to change meaning AT ALL...i'm lookin for a true, indepth account of various experience levels, from the several nights per week stage fiend, to the weekend club warrior. Then there's you concert guys n gals, who are more than welcome. Once again this is not a Bass playing report, but a musician report...

once again, thanx to anyone and everyone who is willing to help me out here...I chose to ask for interviews from you guys simply because i trust you all, well...ok...most of you lol but really, you guys have been a big help to me in the past with my development as a musician, and i'd be honored if i could pick some of ur gigantic musical brians (now im just kissing butt)

OPINION time: my product or tangeable (SP?) part of my report will be a lil video of me, at a normal gig, documenting my equipment, my setup, anything that may go wrong, and teardown of the gear afterward, finished with a video of my band performing as punctuation...any ideas on how i could do this, or somethin to make this better?

sry. for the long post...

What we need is someone from Berklee to give this paper an extra-dose of classiness.

My AIM is my name here. I play 200+ shows a year, rolling all over creation, and still making a living at it at the age of 42. I'm in it for the long haul and so far the mortgage is paid, the band has two tours set up for spring and summer that will take us all the way to Florida and back.

Either we're doing something right, or I am the luckiest summbitch around, or maybe a bit of both.

I've been interviewed before, and so far I haven't scared anyone away from music completely.
