You may have heard of the weaved bacon cheese roll. Well I have too, so I decided it I had to give it a go myself.

I followed the basic steps given from this website http://www.holytaco.com/if-i-die-bac...-it-be-because

All I had at my disposal were middle bacon rashers, not the type shown in the pictures I was going off, so I had to do a little improvisation. I used 3 Rashers cut in half.

Next it was in the oven at 200C

Here it is after the first stage of cooking. I had to drain the oil off, there was so much oil.

After this, I covered the weave with cheese and smokey BBQ sauce, then rolled it up. Not so easy to do.

Back in the oven until the cheese was melted, then serve it up on a plate.

It was amazing.
Didn't really take that long at all, If you got the bacon, and the guts give it a go.

...the hell is a rasher? Any why would you want to eat a skin condition?

Rashers are what they call sides of bacon in British Countries. This is because British Bacon, aka Canadian Bacon comes from a slightly different part of the pig.

You should be able to see the weird shape of the bacon in the first pic. It wasn;t easy to roll it like that.

I love bacon, but that looks nasty. I think the reason it didn't take long is because it's not cooked.

It doesn't normally take long to cook bacon anyway, well not if you dont cook it crispy and hard.

Get slightly less oily bacon, and wrap that be-otch in puff pastry. Om nom nom.

Also, what do you call rashers of bacon over in the US. And what does it look like? A whole new world of bacon, amazing!

The US ones are more like straight strips.
Also all I had was Black and Gold Bacon

I made this a while ago, but mine looked much more appealing than that mess you came up with.

I tend to prefer the "turtle burger" variation:

^ Nicely cut turtle toes. I was saddened to see the hot dogs were merely cosmetic as opposed to running all the way through the turtle, though that would be more difficult to pull off.

I am assuming the bacon exteriors are stuffed with fresh turtle meat?

Nah... just ground beef, but I think you're onto something there.

Yeah, I was expecting them to go all the way through, but they would still have to be cut in the middle so that they could all cross paths.
