Attention seekers, or what?

Sign in to disble this ad
This is geared more towards the high school/college demographic, or people who use AIM and/or Facebook. I find it hilarious when people leave an away message saying something like "ARGH I HATE MY LIFE, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE" etc. Then when asked what is wrong, these people will usually reply with "nothing". Attention seeking or what? I should mention 99 percent of people I've observed do this are girls. And the occasional overly-sensitive and/or effeminate guy.

Kids way of venting anger and hoping certain people see it.

I think at one point or another everyone is guilty of this type of activity. Sure, you have your everyday facebook and aim "not going so well" types of messages, but what about in real life? It's the same thing except put into visible form. You come in, maybe an angry or upset look on your face. You get flustered a little more easily, or you are just snappy to everyone. Either way someone is showing in some way they are down about something. And in the end, usually it does help to talk about it.

Just my two cents I s'pose?

i don't know why people want to put away messages and stuff like that, but i don't care either way...especially after i realize they have way more friends than me and have lives besides hanging out at the tattoo and music shop you're buddies work at. its pretty sad when you hangout somewhere so much people think you work there...well i guess i do have somewhat of a social life, it just revolves are music and tattoos...wow, my world is so small.

I'd rather have a few things I love and cherish a lot rather than a multitude of things that I just sort of have interest in.

who said i loved or cherished it, i loiter at peoples work. nah, i do love hanging out at those places, but i do need to make some more friends. most the ones i have now suck and are really unreliable with anything.

almost, usually i loiter alone, occasionally i have a silent bob, but he's not short and fat, he's a giant and average weight, and he pretty much only talks when someone asks a question, and usually his sentence is under 5 words.
