So sad, he was my favorite drummer...

When will all these entertainers realize they can't torture their bodies like they do.

everything i found said natural causes.. at 28. i call BS on that.

but on the upside.. they might disband and their mediocre guitarists can go be decent with someone else and leave their crap singer and bassist behind. they wont replace the rev. he was too stylized to the band to replace.

His death is very unfortunate. My condolences to his family. I am sure more information will be disclosed in the next few days. I am skeptical of death by "natural causes." I saw them live about six years ago, and they put on one heck of a show.

The Rev was the most talented member of that band. He was very good.

That band never was the same when the screaming left.

Dude, he was so awesome....he inspired me...singing and playing some of the riffs he did. He will never be replaced. That sucks so bad man.

This is what happens when you mix meth and pain pills.
You get a heart attack, mystery solved, experiment over.
/yawn
Celebs killing themselves by taking stimulants and depressants at the same time, nothing to see here.

Natural causes... LOL

Now if only we can have the same happen to Nickelback.

You're talking about the death of a human being here, a bit of respect

I sympathize with his family I truly do, but give me a break, people die everyday of legitimate unavoidable circumstances and no one couldn't care less. As soon as a "celebrity" dies of some completely avoidable stupid act, they become a saint and I have to hear about it for the rest of the year.

Even more so, we wont even hear about how it happened because to save the face of our false gods they lie and say "oh it's completely normal for a 28 year old to die of natural causes" rather than telling the damn truth to educate and warn others about what ever the real cause was.

Here's to Avenge Sevenfolds greatest hits selling a million copies.

Wasn't that the band that won the Ozfest contest as their big break?

His poor parents, what a tragic rollercoaster.

bummer for his fans band and family.

i hate when a guy tortures himslef with drugs for periods of time and when he dies "clean" they call natural causes. leads people to believe it was just a freak accident. i think for the sake of others possibly headed down the same path they should openly acknowledge his past. i had a friend who abused steroids through high school, when he died in his dads arms of a heart attack at 24 they called it natural causes and all of his friends continue on the same drugs...could have been a wake up call for some but it was swept under the rug to save face.

i seriously feel bad for his family but i hope they openly press the issue that drugs played a roundabout role in all of this to serve others headed down this slope and not let this talented young man die in vein. this dude is my age and thats whats real sad.

alright guys. even if you dont like the band. you can't say he was a bad drummer. HE ROCKED! A7x will not be the same without him. he was so talented. he did not die from overdosing or anything. it was natural causes. although he did do alot of drugs as teenager and early adulthood. this band has had such an influence on me. may he rest in peace.

heres a song he put together

This flies in the face of everything the internet represents, but I'm gonna try anyway.........

Stop posting. Your making an ass out out of yourself. Of course people are more interested in the death of a person they have heard of. The reasons why are self-evident. It doesn't make it more important. It does make it more newsworthy.

Because a person is "famous" is no reason to diminish their death. It's even less of a reason to wish death on someone else.

I love the band. They are all extremely talented. Whether you like them or not, you can't deny they were talented.

Don't bash cause he did drugs either. Jaco did drugs and all those other people, and I don't see you hating on him.

RIP The Rev.

Their first two albums are fantastic - everything got pretty ho-hum after that. Even still, sad to see someone go at an age like that. RIP.
