Pretty amazing story...even though the train was already slowing down by the time it hit the pram, the fall from the platform alone could have very well been disastrous.

I can't imagine how tramuatising it would be for the mother, even though i knew the outcome my blood ran cold as it fell off the platform.

The video isn't violent and the outcome is favorable considering the circumstances. We should be grateful it didn't turn into another headline where everyone starts bitching about the end times.

I do NOT agree with his first post about throwing the mother in front of the train (although I would hope he wasn't serious about that). As a father of three kids (now adults), I know how quickly bad things can happen to even the most well-intentioned of parents. Most parents would throw THEMSELVES in front of a train if it would prevent the child from being hit.
Judging that mother in a negative way for what happened never occurred to me. Instead, I was thinking about the horror she must have been experiencing as she realized what was about to happen.

when i was small my old man was walking with me on a big concrete pier....he loosened his grip on my hand for a second and i promptly bolted to the end of the pier and jumped in.....looked like fun i guess....fortunately there was a guy there that pulled me out as i had not yet learned to swim.....

When I was four I went down the steps in a stroller and cut my eye really bad. I think my mom still feels bad.

(Climbing trees, jumping on a bed and getting his arm caught between the mattress and footboard, etc.). Sometimes I felt like a criminal the way the E.R. people would look at me as if I had broken his arm.
Boys are boys. Kids are kids. And bad things sometimes happen without a parent being at fault. I'm just glad this little bundle got through the ordeal safely. What a nightmare...
