Local Baby with two faces worshipped as the reincarnation of the Hindu God, Lord Ganesh
Another person was "born with four arms and four legs but a single head, Lakshmi Tatma was named after the four-armed Hindu goddess of wealth and is growing up normally."

I wonder how doctors would go about separating those two...
It really is sad that the parents are disallowing any medical examination though... You'd think that if you gave birth to a god, you'd want it to survive.

Though I suppose being named after the godess of fortune and money would be nice. |

Another local doctor, Bridal Nagar, said she was not an "abnormal baby" but just one with two faces living a normal life, but who might face problems later on.
"And if she dies it's as God wishes," he added.

Why is it always God's wish if somebody dies? Coming from a doctor no less.

That's a face only a Hindu could love.

That's a face only a Hindu could love. | Lots of deities in the Hindu pantheon have multiple heads. Brahma had five (then four after Shiva cut one off).
I think its possibly because Ganesh was known as Shiva and Parvati's son.
And though I dont find that last bit offensive, as I figure its just joke, other hindus on the board may. |
