bad movies; good endings

The first one that comes to mind is Raw Deal. Hmmm... an undercover cop with a thick Austrian accent. Don't worry, Arnie doesn't need to collect evidence for the trial, not when he can drive into a scrapyard and shoot everybody who appeared in the film.

I usually don't watch bad movies to the end.

A few years ago i watched a movie called "Fantasy Mission Force". It was in a Jackie Chan collectors pack my friend and I bought from the cheap shop, most of the movies were from the early 70's, and were dodgy kung-fu movies with terrible (and hilarious) dubbing.

This one however was a jem, if you ever get the chance to watch it, do. There is little or no plot, something to do with the japanese invading canada, kid napping abraham lincon, and hiring a group of crazed mercenaries (all of whom were cheesy knockoffs of hero archetypes)

This may be a slight spoiler, but the end, as far as i can remember, consists of the mercenary force being in some kind of fortress rescuing a prisoner, when the german military attack the fort, all of whom are driving 70's muscle cars that look like they came straight from the dukes of hazard, with machine guns strapped on top and swastikas painted on the roof.

A movie that can be considered 'so bad its good', however the ending was brilliant. The more I write about it the more i want to try and find this movie again :P

The Mist. I saw it mentioned in the "good movies; bad endings" thread, but it would be my first choice to throw in here. The only thing that kept me from thinking that movie a complete waste was the ending.

For anyone that is interested:

Brilliant plot synopsis

after watching it again its still just as good as last time, each scene more rediculious than the last, but the ending is brilliant.. yet terrible..
