I think Graffitti art is cool (like the examples Morf provided), when it's art and there is obviously some care and thought that has gone into it, but when it's just some punk kid with a sharpie writing his gang moniker on the wall, I'm with Atoz.

Meh. A big laser doing graffiti. At least it doesn't stay permanently.

I don't like graffiti generally, but mural type paintings such as the last one morf posted can be excellent and make otherwise large plain walls much more interesting.

Graffiti starts on the street, with sharpie, being 10 yrs old. Do you think any of these now great artists got where they are by drawing in their notebooks 24/7? Trust me, they didn't.

Vandal graffiti is what it is and I dont particularly condone it, but we wouldn't have many of the great graffiti artists we have today if they hadn't started off that way.

You're acceptance and tolerance of "tagging" would be different if it wasn't defacing the school where kids are trying to learn and your house that you bought with hard earned money.
