Sign in to disble this ad
I just made some killer Bananas Foster for my parents, my sister and her son and man, I forgot why it is my favorite dessert of all time. So buttery and uuuuuuuuuuuuuugh, deliciouuuuuus.

Anyone else love the Foster or perhaps have another Dessert they love maybe a little too much?

any other foodies in general?

Fried banana topped with vanilla ice cream, with sticky rice and mango on the side. Thai food is the best.

Banoffee cheesecake. The restaurant I work at used to do one. It was absolutely amazing. They don't do it any more...

My dad makes Paul Prudhomme's version of sweet potato pecan pie with chantilly cream (w/amaretto and gran marnier)... drool.... There is no better dessert.

I've made bananas foster for dinner guests and it always goes over well. Easy, tasty, and the flambeing never fails to elicit ooohs and ahhhhs.

Another dessert I really like is fruit in custard. I got it from an Indian cookbook by Madhur Jaffrey. You make a thin custard and add sliced bananas and oranges. I prefer to leave the oranges out and substitute strawberries, or just use bananas.
