My band has had several heated arguments about our upcoming band photo. Some of us are old and the question is, "Do we cut our nose hairs before the shoot?"
What do y'all think?

Endorsing Artist Mike Lull T Bass pickups | | Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: Seattle Washington | | I suggest removal of the nose hair by waxing, if the whole band goes in at one time to have it done you'll have a unique bonding experience And you'll look sharp for the photos! |

Two birds with one stone, right there.

Just make sure you take the photo in front of a brick wall or on some railroad tracks.

| | That's the way uh huh uh huh I like it.. | | Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Robbinsville, NJ | | Remember - to have a credible band picture for a band of older white guys you will need:
-one guy with long scraggly metal hair but w/ a receding hairline, wearing sunglasses and dark clothing trying to look "cool". He'll need one hand on the hip and the other against a wall as if to say "hey ladies, here I am in all my middle age (past) glory.."
-one guy next to him to counterbalance. He'll have to be portly and wearing a Hawaiian shirt and shorts w/ white socks and sneakers. He must be smiling like a fool. It's better if you catch that guy in mid-laugh - far more effective.
-next you'll need the guy who's almost normal from what you can see, but half of his head and body will be blocked by the portly guy in front of him. The best pose is to catch the top part of his face from nose up behind the other guy. This way, you cant tell if he's smiling or grimacing.
-lastly you'll have a guy standing off to the side looking away from the camera into the distance as if trying to subliminally signal that he really wants nothing to do with this band or picture, but so far it's the only game in town so he just endures...
It's best if this guy is of a different race/ethnic background or age. It make for far better contrast and drives home the "oh lord, get me the heel outta here.." feel that you get from his pose.
Do this and you will have the old guy band pic down just right

Either someone will leave the band or the whole band will break up within 6 weeks of the photo shoot.Especially if you put together a nice promo pack.
Don't cut your nostril hairs, let your freak flag fly!
