This is too funny, a guy got banned for these two threads. I think he really pissed off some people, but after reading the whole thing, he may have had a point(small).

I am not sure its kosher to talk about the goings on at other forums. That said, "groupthink" mentallity is beyond a shadow of a doubt a feature of online forums. Just take a quick browse of basses, amps or effects here and you will see threads with brand pile-ons for whatever is the new trendy piece of gear. That's why you need to keep your GAS in perspective and remember just because a piece of gear works for whoever the leader of the current cult of personality in the forum is doesn't mean its the right piece of gear for you.

I don't think it's anything to do with the topic - it's just that guy's "attitude" - he is asking to be banned ...

So he says :

" I chose my words carefully, fully knowing that they would incite. I could have said the same thing differently, but it would not have gotten the response that it has. ... I did get what I was expecting though."

then :

"You want the truth, you can't handle the truth, you make comments but the truth is in your face. You want me in this forum you need me in this forum I ask the dirty questions that you wont. Instead of knocking me just say thank you and go on your way, hahahahahah"

then :

"You need us Trolls, we ask the in your face questions, you want us Trolls we give you someone to throw snowballs at, but remember we throw them back. Now what I want you to do all you nutless wonders is to pick up two rock, not big one you’re not ready yet, but two small rocks and put them in your pocket. Now you have a pair. Ladies this does not include you, I may be a Troll, but I am a gentleman. Ladies and Gentlemen, EZ has left the building."

He is literally saying - ban me! The topic was nothing to do with it and I think the moderators were actually pretty lenient!

No I can't make that claim to fame. I agree with Bruce that he did push it a little. I read most of that whole thread, and IMO it look like he was messing with the powers that be on these forums, I'd go so far as to say he kind of goat them, and the only thing they could do was ban him, I wont say I agree, but that's not my place to say, maybe he violated some rule I don't know. I just thought the whole thing was funny, but what was even more funny were the people that called him a troll kept coming back.

Oh, and you both have an Acoustic 370 amp with the 301 cabinet. Lying to general TB public is not going to do you any favors.

Lets not get into discussion about the actions of mods on another forum.
