Assuming he doesn't end up in prison, I think hiring him as a hitting coach is a good idea.

Don't think he'll end up in prison. Too many others would have to go too, and people are finally realizing that.
Yeah, I think he'd make a great hitting coach.

That said, this year's Giants are a lot more fun to watch - no real "stars" except for some of the pitchers, just a great cast of fun, slightly nutty, hard working players.
And it's working for them.

Bonds was HOF before performance enhancing drugs, so it's a good idea.

Some people will just not want him to do anything at all except sit in a corner somewhere and be quiet, because of their personal dislike for him. But he always had the skills and brains to be a great hitter (and was a great hitter). He should make a good hitting coach.

No. He does not talk to and relate to others well, the most important skill a teacher needs.

I don't know man...from what I've heard, other baseball players liked him just fine. But he didn't treat the members of the media kindly because of his personal disdain for the media. In turn, they paint him in the most negative light possible.

I'm no baseball aficionado, so of course I could be wrong. Eh, I probably am....

He will do a great job. Drugs or not, hitting is a skill he mastered during his playing career.

You can pump whatever you want into your veins, but if you don't know how to eye the ball and swing the bat right, you'll still be a .150 hitter.

And if you hit 50 homers, strike out 200 times, and still hit.150, you'll be Dave Kingman!
