Bass Art at NAMM

Sign in to disble this ad
Well since I was at Namm carrying two Nikon D300's for Bass Gear. I took a pile of pictures. It took me most of the week to edit them, I had over 500 after throw-a-ways. Anyway I took a few for "arts sake" and did a section at my site of Bass Art pics. These are not the catalog type shots I took for the magazine. Anyway, here's a couple of them, the rest are at my portfolio page. I'd love to get your feedback:

Likewise, Bob here's you in deep engineering discussion with Tom Lee's (Bass Gears engineer guru) at the bass bash. I would imagine that discussion defied physics.

Great piccies. I wish I could have gone but I was getting ready to fly east for the week. I know my bass teacher was there, that'd been cool to see him.

I love the patrotic bass with the eagle, that is art! The Chromed body on that one is interesting...wouldn't want lights to flash off that. ouch. blind someone!

I figured it was a Ritter, but wasn't sure. The finish is gorgeous.

Nice stuff Steve. That's a pretty sweet gig you landed, getting to walk around NAMM taking photos for the magazine. You should post some of the "unauthorised" ones of all the NAMM girls

Here's a couple of "artier" shots I took of my basses yesterday:

Thanks again, Steve, for coming out and shooting all those photos! It is so nice to have someone with your skills (and equipment) on hand. Not only are your photos a gazillion times better than any I could take, but it frees me up to actually talk to people!

Thanks again, Steve. You did a great job (as always!).
