Why do people take pics of their basses in their bedrooms?? Especially cluttered, dirty, unkept, messy bedrooms. Or.........other messy, dirty, unkept rooms??
Do people no longer have any sense of shame or embarassment??
If you just bought a bass and your proud of it................isn't worth the extra TWO MINUTES of effort to take the bass and stand OUTSIDE??? Any background outside is better than sharing your dirtyazzzed room, over flowing cat box, undewear, socks and personal CRAP with the entire forum |

I kind of enjoy seeing a sexy asian chick posing naked or in some other incriminating pose. I enjoy it even more if it's got a dirty background. An unflushed toilet, a sock hanging off the rabbit ears of the tv tuned to jerry springer, or a kitchen with moldly macaroni and cheese pot. Beautiful. I liken it to the lowbrow art of Robert Williams. He liked to paint nudes all greased up on top of greasy enchiladas. Here's probably his most famous painting. |

| | | I bought an Ohio Players live cd once. Open it up and there's a sexy naked woman posing with one of those old Kramer steel-necked basses.
My first thought when I saw it? "Hey, thats one of those old Kramer steel-necked basses!"
I somehow overlooked the sexy naked woman. |

I somehow overlooked the sexy naked woman. | I have all their albums because of this fact. Can't remember exactly what all the songs are beyond Fire! though. |

Having dog poo, crabgrass, and beat up old cars beats on the bed any day... Aren't we supposed to be looking at the basses?
While we're at it, let's just Photoshop our basses onto famous players, or at the top of Mt. Everest... |

Drape a table cloth, lean the bass against it, take picture.
Get fancy! Go buy some rediculous looking fabric from somewhere with a discount bin, get 2-3 yards of it, and keep it laying around for photos. The gaudier and more rediculous the fabric print, the better! My brother loves pics of his axes in front of a total crap fleece with hot rod flames printed on it. Crazy, yet awesome. |

It's funny, I'll see nice basses for sale and the pictures make me think..........If that's were the bass lives, I don't want to touch the damn thing |
