..."I DO COCAIIINE!" after a performance???

Man oh man.... Saturday night was fun as like dropping lawn mowers on an opera audience. When's the last time y'all had a truly FUN show? Great crowd reactions, laughing at screwups, plenty of beer drinking, lotsa fun people loving your show, even making the venue owner happy???

I don't think it wrong, I'm just not sure why you would - unless it was part of a larger joke.

Only if Homeland Security isn't there to wrestle you to the ground.

I hear Guantanamo is nice this time of year.

As long the crowd knows who Dr. Rockso is, then it's all good.

I might have to steal this tactic soon haha

DOOO EEEEET! It's a surefire response, dude! So damned funny. I was on stage tuning up and warming up, the whole time talking to the sound guy like Murderface. The rest of the band couldn't stop giggling. Apparently, I can do the best impersonations of Murderface and Nathan. We still haven't found anyone who can do Skwisgaar without trailing off into laughter! That is one screwed up character to imitate!

Great show? Saturday night. My first time on stage in six months, and we rocked. We had one point where the guitard and I were supposed to do harmonies acapella and I hit the wrong damn note, and he stopped me and we did what can almost be described as slapstick involving an imaginary piece of earwax in my ear we were trying to get out. People afterwards were asking me if we'd planned that the whole time, it was great.

As for the "I do cocaine!" thing... Whatever floats yer boat, buddy.

I've heard a singer say "This song is about cocaine" and then proceed to do an 80s rock scream. Sad thing is, he was serious, and that was earlier this year. The whole band looked like the 90s never happened. Big hair, bandannas, Neil Peart drum cage, and the David Lee Roth jumps off the drum riser. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

I'm not sure, but you risk looking like a massive loser while doing it.

I guess not enough people watch Metalocalypse around here haha

That's understandable though.

I think that would be the general consensus -- I have no clue what this is about, and judging from the reactions of others here, I'd say most of us are in the dark!

Trying it live might garner a similar response here. Also, be wary of friends and/or family who may be at the show and you don't know about it.

Wouldn't do the shout part.

Gotta remember that line about lawn mowers.

We have truly FUN at every show.
If you don't, what's the point?
Some screwups are funny, some rub me wrong for about 10 seconds.
Venue owners make money on us.

I did the "Hello Cleveland" line once. No one got it. And it was to a crowd in their 40s who were all about classic rock and 80s music.

When I was still in high school, my band then was playing a gig at a pub. One of the songs in our set was F*** Her Gently from Tenacious D, and our guitarists parents were there. It was not awkward at all

Well, you know what happened to Dr. Rockso!
Besides Murderface wouldn't eat a hotdog.

Including me... on the initial read, I had no idea what this thread was about and had never heard of "Metalocalypse" before tonight. Apparently it is pretty captivating, entertaining comedy.
