Sweet. You're in Orange County. I'll look for them on Craig's List.

Seriously. That sucks. What did you do to piss your mom off?

well she wanted me to lend her some money to pay bills, and i said i cant cuz i have to save up since i wanna move away from her iron fisted rules in my house, which i do follow and try my best to help around but she see's my bass playing as a needless habit instead of me doing it to enjoy wat little i time i have when im not working and stuff!! and she got mad and just sold them!!

Call the cops on her, if you're over 18, you can legally do that. Huzzah.

Sounds like you have a lot bigger problems in the house than the missing basses.

Yeah, and she can legally kick him out of the house.

OP, get your finances together and leave. I hope you and your mother can have a good relationship one day.

You can return the favor, and sell all her Jewelries to pay the bills. Lets see how she feels about that.

+1 if she is going to sell your stuff for personal gain then you should sell her stuff for it too. And when she gets angry at you, PM all Talkbass members her email address and we'll write strong emails about how sacred not only ones bass is, but ones personal possessions. And she will know not to **** with a bassist.

Whenever my mom tried to sell my bass I'd just attack her with a machete.

She learned her lesson once it became difficult to explain the lacerations.

You want to pork someone in the White House?!

These aren't the Kennedy days anymore my friend...

EDIT: Why did I say Kennedy when the first thing that came to mind was Monica?
