Bassist jab on I Hate My Teenage Daughter

Anyone watch that show this week? If you did, you know where this is going...

There was a bassist jab on this episode. Here's (essentially) how it went:

Annie (Jamie Pressly): What's he doing here?
Matt (ex-husband): Our bass player left and I asked this guy to come over to audition.
Annie: What? You don't need a bass player. All they do is 'dum dum dum dum'. (miming playing bass)
Matt: No, the bass player is very important! (pause) They take all the ugly groupies. (walks off)
Bass player: HEY!

That show is garbage.

Just watching the promos makes me feel like I need a shower.

Yeah, I saw it and they did two bass player jabs. The one listed above and another one later in the show when a bass player showed up. The episode will be on FOX Broadcasting Company - FOX Television Shows next week so you can see what they did.

I agree. But we just finished watching the X Factor when it came on. Definitely not a keeper for the DVR.

Or maybe they're just trying to make her look un-hot for this show since she's supposed to be a mom.

Also I wouldn't get mad at the actors they are just reading a script I don't seriously think they actually believe it. However we shouldn't blame the writers either their just playing off that Rock Myth that Sid helped strengthen in the 70's and so many help strengthen today. The Ironic thing? Sid got the hottest groupies out of all of the Sex Pistols look it up.

I saw this one. I think the show is ok. A lot better than most if the garbage that passes for TV these days. But when I heard the aforementioned joke, I immediately thought, "Hmmm, I wonder what the folks on TB will have to say about this."
